Beaches in Hawaii

The island of Kauai (Hawaii) has been blessed with some of the best beaches in the Pacific. From large expanses of golden sand to small coves surrounded by woods, a perfect setting to send a postcard and be the envy of your friends. I recommend that to me are the best beaches that we see in our Kauai vacation.

Kauapea (secret beach)
If you ask where the beach Kaupea may not get an answer. The people of Kauai beach call this “secret beach” and while the secret is made public, the beach is so long that you never feel overwhelmed. You’ll have to give you a short walk through a jungle of turbid waters on the north coast of Kauai. By law women and men should wear bikini and swimwear respectively, but in practice … you’ll see everything.

Kealia
A long sandy beach popular with local surfers. The eastern part of Kealia can be as treacherous as precious. Kealia is not a swimming beach, is a good place to picnic … barbecues … certainly see many dogs running after a disc. This kind of activities are there much.

Mahaulepu
To reach Mahaulepu have to download a limestone cliff to the east. Depending on the season and sea conditions, this beach is ideal for kite surfing, fishing, sunbathing or playing in the waves. To get there you may need to try a couple of times, since it is one of the least visited beaches, and the natives want attention to detail.

Poipu
This beach is easily accessible from hotels and other lodging typical vacation. Lots of sun, plenty of palm trees “dominating” the beach and crystal clear water make Poipu is one of the destinations chosen by most visitors to Hawaii.
