Shopping in HongKong is an incredible travel experience. The shops here are famous for their great prices and great variety of products. In HongKong there are no taxes, so you can buy items that elsewhere would be substantially higher price.
Jewelry
Most people when traveling is not currently too expensive to buy things but maybe if you go shopping in Hong Kong you rethink the budget for gifts. Diamonds and gold are the most popular. You should keep an eye on the center, Causeway Bay and Tsimshatsui.
There are many who are wary of buying jewelry in Hong Kong. But the truth is that is quite safe because sellers are required by law to provide some documents that certify the origin, quality and purity of the gem.

Electronics
Hong Kong is a paradise for the amateur electronics. LCD Monitors, Plasma TVsde, digital cameras, iPods, MP3s, video cameras … All at a very competitive price.
I have seen how people would bring some home cinema from there, so do not worry about sizes. There seems to be a serious problem. The best places to buy consumer electronics in HongKong are in big stores (the best known chains) located at Causeway and Tshimshatsui.
Mobile
In Hong Kong there are a huge store of mobiles, but perhaps the type of phone that is consumed usually quite different from ours. There is more media device type (photos, video, email, MP3 ….) And here most people use the phone for calls and SMS (I include myself in this group, hehe). We can find a comprehensive mobile (with all the multimedia capabilities) for about 90 euros only.
Buying Computers
The computer is very popular in HongKong. Prepare to enter shops always crowded with people. You can find all kinds of portable computers … … accessories … Do not miss the Windsor House in Causeway 3 floors for computers only.
Other interesting things
As you could see HongKong’s (in addition to a country within China) very commercial. If all items of budget you are not discouraged in your effort to bring some bargains in Asia. You able to look clocks, antique small craft or clothing. You can read more at locuraChina.
